I've been thinking about this for some time
Now sit down and let me tell you about this novel of mine
Well on the cover there'll be a picture of me
And I'll be doing something cool and I'll look so damn happy
Flip the page and that's where you'll see
That this book is dedicated to all the things I'm gonna be
Well chapter one comes in with a bang
Our hero is strong and free of distress
Our hero's the one that will clean up this whole mess
Well the plot develops and time passes by
Our hero's not so strong, he's now not such a brave guy

Because he was hit hard by life and he was knocked out by love
He tried to get back but he had no faith up above
So a darkness starts to take over and it fits like a glove

Pressing on, he finds faithful friends that will be there for him when his mind breaks and bends
And with their help he finds what he loves to do
And in the process finds someone that loves him too
And towards the end he doesn't know what to do
Because everything difficult in his life has finally stopped

In fact they chewed it up and spit it out in all of its glory

So I took my dumb book and I ripped out the pages
I burnt them to ash and let them drift through the ages
None of it was definite but now its written in stone
That my true to life story will never, never be known
